On Friday, May 24, 2013, ZCS held its 33rd Commencement Exercise. There was one graduate in the ZCS Class of 2013 – Edith Howell. She was the class valedictorian and graduated with a 4.0 gpa. She was challenged by Pastor Chris Brown, Associate Pastor of Maranatha Bible Church. The theme of his message was "Retaining Wisdom" taken from Proverbs 3:1-2: "My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: for length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee." The high school choir sang "Be Thou My Vision" and the volleyball team sang "May the Road Rise to Meet You". There was a reception for Edith, her family, and guests in Room 2.
