At Zanesville Christian, the Warriors controlled the tempo early in an effort to avenge a 70-24 loss earlier in the season, but 16 percent shooting from the floor allowed Wayside (7-7) to walk away victorious, 33, 15.
Leading Zanesville Christian (2-6) was Marcus Hamilton with seven points and five rebounds. Nathan Medich chipped in four steals, and Clay West had eight rebounds.
In junior high action, Zanesville Christian (6-1) was able to avenge its only loss, picking up a 30-22 win against Wayside Christian (5-2). Aaron Harris and Clay West lead the Warriors with 11 and 10 points.
