At Zanesville, Nate Medich scored 20 points with five steals and Marcus Hamilton added 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Warriors improved to 2-6.
The Warriors held a 33-15 rebounding edge against the Crusaders (0-6) as Zach Smith grabbed nine rebounds.
Cory Larson led Fayette with 16 points.
In junior high action, Zanesville Christian (5-1) defeated Fayette 27-17. Clay West led the Warriors with seven points, and Hayden Medich added six.
