On Saturday, May 25, 2019, ZCS held its 37th Commencement Exercise.  There was one graduate in the ZCS Class of 2019: Ida Howell.

Ida earned the honor of Valedictorian.  She was challenged by Mr. Dave Stratton, Assistant Principal of Lima Christian Academy.  His message was entitled "Lessons from the Airport" and referenced I John 2:1.  The class verse was Psalm 138:8. There was a reception for graduates, families and guests following the commencement.

One student from Zanesville Christian was able to go to the 2019 AACS National Fine Arts Competition held at Bob Jones University. 

Congratulations to Ida Howell for placing first in Oral Interpretation of Scripture and New Testament Bible Knowledge.  She also placed third in Sacred Piano Solo and Political Science/Economics!

On March 7-8, ZCS attended the Buckeye Christian School Organization’s 2019 Fine Arts Competition held at Heritage Christian School in Brooklyn, Ohio.

Zanesville Christian came away with several individual, team, and school awards. 

Ida Howell was the top female competitor with 418 points.  The top male competitor was Truett Howell with 501 points.  Our National Bible Quizzing team placed first in the high school division.

ZCS claimed first place in the following divisions:
Academic & Spiritual Division
Home Economics Division

ZCS also had the highest average points per student, 227.20 average, and placed 3rd in overall points with 1,136 points.
